Reflexology
This therapeutic treatment involves a unique type of pressure applied to the feet, cleansing the body of toxins and impurities, balancing the whole system, reducing stress and inducing relaxation. The science and concept lies in the principle that there are reflex areas in the hands and feet that correspond to all parts of the body.
During the course we learn how to assess and associate parts of our feet to corresponding parts or our body. Course content: history and origins of Reflexology; benefits and effects of a treatment; sequence and techniques; concepts and theories of how Reflexology works; corresponding reflexes and pressure points are discussed; homecare and aftercare advice; contra-indications and contra-actions; observations and assessment of client feedback.
